Hello,I don't think it's a compatibility problem, since when I click "Open" in trash applet's context menu, it opens the correct directory (i.e. trash:, which content is different from /home/<user>/.local/share/Trash/files). Besides, after emptying trash from applet, both trash: and /home/<user>/.local/share/Trash/files are correctly emptied.
