Package: dansguardian Version: 2.8.0.4-2 Severity: important Having had a previous version working completely reliably, the current version of dansguardian won't stay up and running for more than a few days at a time. There's no imformation at all in its log files that anything might be awry, but it simply stops running. I have tried to encourage it to log something useful, and have tried changing the runtime directory to see if I can get core files, but I can't, or this isn't the problem.
I think this problem started when I upgraded from dansguardian 2.8.0.3-2 -> 2.8.0.4-2. Any ideas? My next step would be a grotesque hack involving a watchdog process simply restarting dansguardian when it fails.
