Subject: ia32-libs: Missing some .so links Package: ia32-libs Version: 2.6 Severity: normal
When compiling mesa in 32bit mode, ld was unable to find several libraries. After adding the following symbolic links, I got a usable mesa. libexpat.so libXdamage.so libdrm.so libstdc++.so Is this a misunderstanding on my side? A bug in ld? Or should the ia32-libs package just create these links? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ia32-libs depends on: ii dpkg 1.14.20 Debian package management system ii lib32asound2 1.0.16-2 ALSA library (32 bit) ii lib32gcc1 1:4.3.1-2 GCC support library (32 bit Versio ii lib32ncurses5 5.6+20080308-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii lib32stdc++6 4.3.1-2 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (3 ii lib32z1 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - 32 bit runti ii libc6-i386 2.7-10 GNU C Library: 32bit shared librar ii lsb-release 3.2-12 Linux Standard Base version report ia32-libs recommends no packages.
