Package: curl Version: 7.13.2-2 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Hello,
curl corrupts the data returned from http://ftp.task.gda.pl . I looked at the package contents with "tcpdump -s0 -x -i eth1 'port http'" and it seems to be the same that wget returns. However, what curl finally writs to the stdout or a file is unreadable crap (completely different, diff runs amok). /usr/bin/curl --stderr /dev/null http://ftp.task.gda.pl/debian/dists/sarge/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz | zcat zcat: stdin: not in gzip format This is especially nasty because I have ported apt-cacher to curl only, completely replacing wget.
