Hi, the patch is already shipped in the "not-applied" dir of the quilt patch stack, you can enable it if you recompile mutt. At the moment I don't intend to activate it in the Debian version as the patch doesn't have an active maintainer. Also, the patch does have some bugs which should be tackled if it were applied.
