Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Could you remove the arch-specific packages built by the openafs source package from hppa, namely:
libopenafs-dev libpam-openafs-kaserver openafs-client openafs-dbg openafs-dbserver openafs-fileserver openafs-kpasswd openafs-krb5 The binaries currently in unstable/testing don't actually work, and when I tried to fix them, I found that upstream requires ucontext support and hppa libc doesn't provide it. I've never gotten a bug report on the current broken packages even though I know they don't work, so apparently no one is trying to use them anyway. The next sourceful upload will remove hppa from the architecture list on all the arch-specific packages and immediately error the build on that platform. Let me know if you want me to do that upload first before you remove the current binary packages. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
