I haven't had much time to investigate this problem beyond the extent mentioned in my note of April 3rd, but I thought I should record the following results:
A few days ago, a patch was posted to STR#2850 (another report of the PDF landscape printing problem) which purpots to fix it. The patch applies cleanly against Debian's 1.3.7-9. With str2850.patch applied and the package modified to use the 1.3 pdftops filter (instead of the 1.4 pdftops filter), landscape output stops working to my Postscript test printer, where it worked correctly without the patch. My HPIJS test printer, on the other hand, orients the page correctly in landscape mode (whereas previously it did not), but the output is two and five-eighths inches to the right of where it should be. The same results occur with the upstream SVN's pdftops (from the 1.3 branch) as of r7750. Additional testing will occur as time permits. -- William Aoki KD7YAF [EMAIL PROTECTED] 5-1924 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
