Package: udev Version: 0.124-3 Hello,
it seems like starting with udev 0.124-3 the pcspkr module is not loaded
anymore automatically on boot and thus my system does not beep anymore
at all until I modprobe pcspkr.
I have no idea if it's really udev's fault, but the only change I found
regarding to the pcspkr module is in the udev 0.124-3 ChangeLog:
* Removed the pnp:dPNP0800 module alias (pcspkr) because nowadays the
driver provides its own platform device alias.
I have a /var/log/dmesg file from a boot at Jul 10 where pcspkr is
loaded and during the next boot at Jul 15 pcspkr got not loaded anymore.
According to dpkg.log udev 0.124-3 has been installed at Jul 12.
