I downgraded to 1.2.1-1 from snapshots but still have the same problem.

I tried but didn't got more output.

Starting dbus just says:

"Unknown group "dev-usb" in message bus configuration file"

Not more output.

dbus-daemon(1)
...
DBUS_VERBOSE=1  will  have NO EFFECT unless your copy of D-Bus was
compiled with verbose mode enabled.
...

# DBUS_VERBOSE=1 dbus-daemon --system
Unknown group "dev-usb" in message bus configuration file
# getent group dev-usb
dev-usb:*:10110:usera,userb,userc,userd,...... (very long list with 1411
users)

Maybe you have another idea I can test/try?
