DBUS_VERBOSE=1 will have NO EFFECT unless your copy of D-Bus was compiled with verbose mode enabled. ... # DBUS_VERBOSE=1 dbus-daemon --system Unknown group "dev-usb" in message bus configuration file # getent group dev-usb dev-usb:*:10110:usera,userb,userc,userd,......
