I can't reproduce this, but if I copy your APT::Cache-Limit setting, I get a bunch of warnings from aptitude saying that it couldn't load the cache because it ran out of room in DynamicMmap. And I notice that this is the one common thread -- all three people who reported this have modified the value of Cache-Limit. Does deleting that setting help at all?
