The package was synced from Ubuntu without changes, and has never been modified until that patch was applied to it (creating 0.4.1-1ubuntu1). It's possible that the specific issue that effected it on Ubuntu isn't true on Debian, or the package hasn't been built recently on amd64 and thus hasn't had an opportunity to fail.
