There is a new upstream version of this package, 2.4.10-2, available in unstable; could you please install this and see if it helps? >From the backtrace, this is most likely an openldap problem rather than a samba problem. Could you also send the contents of /var/log/samba/log.winbindd? In particular, anything immediately before a backtrace. If you don't already have debug level set in smb.conf, you'll want to set this to 4 and capture another crash to get a log.winbindd with useful information.
