On Mon, 07 Jul 2008 the mental interface of
Gerard Robin told:
Package: moc
Version: 1:2.5.0~alpha3+svn20080629-1
Severity: normal
I upgraded moc recently and now when I run mocp it starts normally but after
that the list of the files mp3 is displayed it freezes definitively.
What does freezing mean? A scrambled sreen? A hanging machine?
the terminal in which I launched mocp freezes, not the machine. (I kill
the terminal and it's ok)
I notice that "ps ax | grep mocp" gives:
17196 ? S 0:00 mocp
17197 ? Ssl 0:00 mocp
Well, as my globe told me, try following:
$ mv $HOME/.moc/cache $HOME/.moc/cache.old
$ mocp
What happens now?
mocp starts and displays the files mp3 (left) + the playlist (right) +
FATAL_ERROR: Can't send() int to the server
and freezes.
The directory $HOME/.moc/cache is regenerated and "ps ax | grep mocp"
gives nothing.
however moc_2.5.0~alpha3-3 works fine.
Except the sound which is not adjustable with the keys " < or > "
