I don't think there is, the problem is that leaves can have multiple parent branches.
Take sound stuff snd_intel8x0 needs snd and snd_page_alloc, so which one would it be put under? I think the N:N relationship is going to kill it. With processes you can only have one and only one parent, making it 1:N and so a nice tree.
