Package: exim4-base Version: 4.63-17 Severity: wishlist
Hi, The exim4 is taking i little longer to startup than I would expect just for local mail delivey configuration. After some analises it is because of update-exim4.conf been executed every startup, then I would like to suggest something like: if [ -n "`find /etc/exim4 -type f -newer /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated`" ]; then upex4conf isconfigvalid fi And just for sake of optimization, update-exim4.conf already executes exim4 -bV then if it would report the result, there will be no need to run exim4 -bV again in isconfigvalid.
