I'd say that's why. Dialog/Modal windows don't have to appear on task lists. It doesn't appear either on window list. I don't really know how properties work, but having a window type of _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DIALOG _and_ _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_NORMAL seems a bit weird and confusing. Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
