Marco, you know I already "nagged" you about that. I'm sorry to say that udev is *the only* package which we have "problems" with in that respect. We, translators, know that our work is still sometimes considered low priority by some maintainers and we even respect this to the best extend we can. I refrained many time to just NMU udev for this, while I don't hesitate one second for less important packages (and even quite importa nt ones: I just sent an "NMU intent" for pam.....which will certainly turn into a coordinated upload). I refrained because I respect your work and I know you would dislike that and I really don't want to make an important package maintainer angry about our work. But, frankly speaking, it became harder and harder. I'm probably not the first person to tell you so, but seeing udev with its last upload back in Aug. 2007 leads me to think you should consider team maintenance. From what I've seen up to now (and don't take this as a criticism), that may not very well suit your work method, but I think it's overdue anyway. Otherwise, someone less careful about respecting maintainers' than I am work could just hijack the package in the future. So, reading the announcement of an upload in your answer to Helge's mail is a real good news for us. I hope it announces better days to come...
