Package: libpam-shield
Version: 0.9.2-3.1
Severity: wishlist

I have two suggestions for comments either in the conf file or in the README.

1. The cron job only runs once per day, and so a retention value of less than a
day probably doesn't do what is expected. It seems that this can
either be fixed by moving the cron job to cron.d and running it more often, or
adding a comment in the conf file for people who want to make the
timeout shorter.

2. Perhaps it is obvious to some people, but I hadn't considered that the
unknown/known username check is resolved via getpwnam() and so even
though I had libpam-shield set to only trigger on unknown usernames because I
use virtual usernames via pam-pgsql, all names are "unknown" to
libpam-shield, so that setting has basically no effect on my installation.

Thanks!
