Package: module-init-tools Version: 3.4-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I've blacklisted the ipv6 module, since that was the easiest way to not get broken ipv6 configurations. Now modprobe spams syslog all the time: ------------------------------------------------------------ Jun 29 23:26:20 lh modprobe: WARNING: Not loading blacklisted module ipv6 Jun 29 23:26:51 lh last message repeated 9 times Jun 29 23:27:53 lh last message repeated 22 times Jun 29 23:28:56 lh last message repeated 22 times Jun 29 23:29:58 lh last message repeated 23 times Jun 29 23:31:00 lh last message repeated 22 times Jun 29 23:32:02 lh last message repeated 22 times Jun 29 23:32:49 lh last message repeated 19 times Jun 29 23:33:51 lh last message repeated 21 times Jun 29 23:34:06 lh last message repeated 6 times ------------------------------------------------------------ I know I blacklisted the ipv6 module so it won't load, and I don't need a hundred warnings a minute about it being blacklisted, thank you.
