lkcd & lcrash have had a long history of getting code contributed to them from various people. However, I can assure you that just because there are some ifdefs for certain architects does not imply that those architectures are supported or will even compile. > Would it be possible to support more arches? Like alpha and > amd64. Eventually yes. There is active development upstream for lcrash and lkcd. Right now we are working on a major re-write in the 7.X.X development branch, which involves completely re-architecting how lkcd & lcrash work at a core level, additional architectures will come after we complete most of this work. > PS: I find the ppc64 weird since powerpc itself doesn't seem to be > supported? Not really sure, I don't have any ppc hardware to test on. powerpc might work or it might not. Since it's not spelled out upstream, and I don't have powerpc hardware to test crash dumps on I'm going to stick with not. Again, once we finish the major 7.X.X dev work upstream more functionality/archs will come. Troy -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
