Hello, sorry to answer that late. Indeed, the same problem will also occur on 2.6 kernels. I have reported that to the linux-net mailing list: http://marc.info/?l=linux-netdev&m=120680212932082&w=2 I am already used to apply the patch I need for my NIC any time a new debian kernel package is released (right, now this was the last one I guess), but indeed it would be nice to go into the 2.6-line in future.
