Uh, shouldn't py_central install that hook into prerm by itself? It leaves symlinks in /usr for every package using python-central, unless I explicitly remove them? This sounds completely backwards, and I don't see the reason or benefits! I am going to reassign this back to python-central unless you have some good arguments.
