After some thinking about that I disagree.
While some of the contents of libgpod-common clearly not belong in it
(documentation and examples, which I will move to a -doc package), I
think the package itself still satisfies the Recommends definition
given above.

I think we should not consider whether they should found together in
all installations but in all actually used installations. The fact
that most installations of libgpod are probably unused is not our
fault, but the fault of packages like rhythmbox and amarok which do
not allow people to select the plugins they really need.

Together with the fact that libgpod-common is a very small package
with only a small dependency over what you get with libgpod anyway,
I don't think it should be moved to Suggests.
