and yes no GRUB message appeared at all. argh had a stressy day so overwrote that hd.img. anyway i'm not sure i reported to the correct package, guess it applies to grub. as it was a standard Lenny d-i install. grub install fails to produce a bootable state. running lilo and after that grub-install /dev/sda makes those boxes bootable will reproduce on monday/tuesday. -- maks -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
