Package: libnss-ldap Version: 238-1 Severity: important The command "getent passwd" yields, in addition to the entries from /etc/passwd, only 1000 entries from our LDAP database which contains much more than these. (A tiny C program showing all passwd data using setpwent(), getpwent(), endpwent() does exactly the same.) The command works correctly when using woody instead of sarge or NIS instead of LDAP. I have built the package libnss-ldap just without the option "--enable-paged-results", and everything was ok. In contrast, inserting something like "pagesize 5000" in the configuration files didn't have any effect on the problem.
