Hi, I don't know why it has a different behaviour with GDB. Can you use: $ export EMPATHY_DEBUG=all and try again with GDB ?
Do you start empathy in a separate D-Bus session, or normally? This bug makes me think about this upstream bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=533840 Do you have a socket file in /tmp/empathy.* ? If so, can you check $ lsof /tmp/empathy.* -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
