I thing this problem works for all win-clients the same way.

In cmd-terminal of a winxphome-maschine with cygwin:

C:>df --block-size=1

z:    36121485312 28330397696 7791087616 79% /cygdrive/z

and here some wrong results after more than a minute or so (at the moment):

z:    107503616  84146176  23357440  79% /cygdrive/z
z:      8818688   6917120   1901568  79% /cygdrive/z

if the results are too silly df only shows:

z:            -         -         -   -  /cygdrive/z

but the property-window keep showing strange sizes (not only numbers!). I can
send the screen-shots, please tell me where.
After 2 minutes a restart (by cron) bring back the right size.

Same share mounted (type smbfs) on a linux-box, df gives wrong results too (but
stable).

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
//sharename      2147188740         0 2147188740   0% /share-mnt-point
