Could we not come to a working compromise for sarge no the basis that a propper solution is found for etch... something along the lines of this.
debian-edu-config could use debconf to ask the admin somthing like: "Do you wish to apply the debian-edu configuation? Doing so will alter the configuration of several independent packages installed on your system" This could be preseeded by debian-edu fokes (right?) but give sutable warning to others! This is going to be a common problem for all CDD's (custom debian distroes). Perhaps each cdd is allowed one package like this... each of the spercial packages would have to conflict with eacho other (or something) so only one can be installed. Hmm... this may not be all that usefull but it might start someone else of on the road to a better solution. Alex Owen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
