Can please the maintainer comment on this bug report? For me it renders mutt-patched practically unusable, as I don't have any way to know if/where (among tens of mailboxes) new mail has arrived. AFAIU it is the same for all users using mutt-patched with maildirs, hence I'm really tempted to bump the urgency of this bugreport to serious. Besides, now that mutt-patched 1.5.18 has transitioned to testing, I no longer have handy access to a mutt-patched 1.5.17 or lower, where the problem did not exist. snapshot.debian.net seems to be out of date as well, if you have any pointer to a compiled mutt-patched 1.5.17 I would appreciate it, otherwise I'll need to rebuild it by myself ...
