Can please the maintainer comment on this bug report?

For me it renders mutt-patched practically unusable, as I don't have any
way to know if/where (among tens of mailboxes) new mail has arrived.
AFAIU it is the same for all users using mutt-patched with maildirs,
hence I'm really tempted to bump the urgency of this bugreport to
serious.

Besides, now that mutt-patched 1.5.18 has transitioned to testing, I no
longer have handy access to a mutt-patched 1.5.17 or lower, where the
problem did not exist. snapshot.debian.net seems to be out of date as
well, if you have any pointer to a compiled mutt-patched 1.5.17 I would
appreciate it, otherwise I'll need to rebuild it by myself ...

Many thanks in advance,
Cheers.
