Package: esound Version: 0.2.36-3 It seems to me that esound-clients does not satisfy the policy requirement for Recommends: This declares a strong, but not absolute, dependency.
The Recommends field should list packages that would be found together with this one in all but unusual installations. The library gets pulled in by a great many other library and applications and loads of users will not actually be using esound at all, thus making esound-clients useless for them. Therefore the dependency fails the "in all but unusual installations" requirement. Please consider either dropping the dependency, or lowering it to Suggests so esound-clients does not get pulled in needlessly by default when people install any of the reverse dependencies of libesd0.
