Package: wireshark
Version: 1.0.0-3
Severity: important

When running through gksu (which is what happens most of the time when
users use the menu to run wireshark as root) and you try to start a
capture (which is what you usually want to do when running as root), it
freezes. It doesn't freeze if run through "su -p root -c", for instance.
