Package: libpaper-dev Version: 1.1.21 Severity: normal I cannot find any information on some important aspects of the interface. The user-oriented manpage papersize(5) lists "commonly understood" names and additionally "paper names that one may encounter". But as a developer who wants to change his package to support libpaper, I have to make sure that my executables are not given information they cannot understand.
Therefore, information is missing about - whether the list in papersize(5) is complete, or whether there are more paper types, and which. - Whether the list might be extended without a soname change. I fear that currently I cannot rely on the list, so that I would have to check for unsupported names even if the current version of my program can deal with all of them.
