Software is unusuable in ForkDaemon mode because you force running as 'bitlbee' user in the init script. Raised severity, as this is the recommanded way of running bitlbee.
Btw, bitlbee has a "User =" directive in his configuration file, so i guess setting the user in the init script is useless and misleading.
