Package: fam Version: 2.7.0-12 On a lab with several LTSP based diskless workstation clients, I see a lot of messages like this in the syslog:
famd[5807]: connect: Connection refused The message do not explain what the problem is. Please change it to include more information about the failed connect, for example addresses involved and the port number, to have a chance to figure out what is causing such messages when reading the syslog. Any idea what the problem is? I suspect it might be related to the content of /etc/hosts, where the localhost name is mapped to 127.0.0.1, while the hostname (ltsp) is mapped to 127.0.0.2, but this is pure speculation.
