i believe all of the above mentioned bugs are caused by the same
poller-related problem. while i have not yet been able to reproduce the
problem i'm pretty sure that it is there because of the number of
people independantly reporting it.
in the absence of more evidence, could some of you try the latest
version of cacti uploaded into sid today? the version is 0.8.6d,
and is a new upstream release.
