When syncing to a Palm Z22 (or is it a Z23?),
it is necessary to start the sync from the handheld,
and then push the sync button on jpilot.
(Otherwise, nothing happens until the handheld times
out.)
That'd be OK, except that an error message you get
from jpilot is misleading. If you hit the
sync button a second time on jpilot, it tells you
J-Pilot: sync PID = 27407
J-Pilot: press the hotsync button on the cradle or "kill 27407"
which implies it ought to work if you push the button
on the handheld. But, it doesn't.
If you push the sync button on jpilot first,
there is no way to recover short of restarting
jpilot.
I forwarded your bug upstream.
Upstream fixed the bug. The next version of jpilot will correct the bug.
