I've split out the etc-in-svk stuff into a separate package (etcinsvk - currently in NEW), and made debian-edu-config recommend this package. It should make debian-edu-config installable even when svk is broken. The changes are in svn, and we should upload a new version of debian-edu-config when etcinsvk make it into the Debian archive.
