Yes. Or at least know about the problem. There would be no easy workaround I guess, one soultion would be to use someting else than uw-imap...
It makes best sense for me for the bug to be fixed with UW-imap, applied as a patch here locally for the Debian package. I am not able to code a fix for UW-iamp. Help is much appreciated!
