Package: cereal
Version: 0.21-1
Severity: important

[this may be RC, the FHS is part of Debian policy]

cereal does not lock the serial port and thus allows other
applications, for example ser2net, to connect to the serial port that
cereal is already running on.

This may lead to data loss.

Greetings
Marc
