Package: krb5-kdc-ldap
Version: 1.6.dfsg.3-2
Severity: normal

I'm not able to find a way to create a stash file (the one with the
database master key) on a ldap-only kdc execpt for initial db creation. The
documented way "kdb5_util stash" only works if it have a usable non-ldap db:

| # kdb5_util stash -f test
| kdb5_util: Cannot find/read stored master key while reading master key
| kdb5_util: Warning: proceeding without master key
| stash: Invalid argument while initializing the database
'/etc/krb5kdc/principal'

kdb5_ldap_util have support for a different key format used for ldap
access.

The failure given by the kdc is also not the best:
| krb5kdc[1685]: Cannot find/read stored master key - while fetching master key
K/M for realm $REALM

In fact, the stash file is missing and it lacks access to this data.
