Package: emacs Version: 22.2+2-2 Severity: normal c-electric-brace uses self-insert-command to insert the actual brace typed. As a result, if run by some means other than typing a brace, it does not insert the correct character. For instance, if run via M-x c-electric-brace RET, it inserts a Ctrl-M character (the RET) into the buffer.
