Hi Eric, before you're wondering what's keeping this back: parted still depends on automake1.8 and while I believe the plan is to get parted 1.8 into unstable somewhat soonish (it is in experimental and depends on newer automake), it probably won't happen before the next d-i beta (says Otavio).
