As this bug, and all the other ones, have had no reply from the maintainer ever, I plan to address this bug, together with some others in an upload.
The upload would also change the maintainer to the QA group, thus orphaning the package. If you still intend to maintain the package please reply as soon as possible, because by the next weekend I'll ask a sponsor to upload the package.
