Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Please remove xerces27 and its associated binary packages from unstable. If my analysis is correct, there are no longer any packages in unstable that depend on it. It can be removed from testing when the removal transitions naturally.
In ample time before the release of lenny, I will be requesting removal of xerces28 as well which will mean that we will, as desired, have only one version of xerces-c 2.x in lenny. However, I am waiting a little longer on xerces28 to give some time for the dummy transitional packages to do their job and for the last package that build depends on it to be updated.
