Package: uqm
Version: 0.6.2.dfsg-6
Severity: wishlist

I have a widescreen LCD monitor (the native resolution is 1280x768...I
don't have the actual aspect ratio handy, but I bet it's 4:3, same as
the widescreen TVs they're selling now).

If I run uqm in full-screen mode, it uses the wrong aspect ratio and
circular objects such as planets get "squashed". It would be nice if
uqm could adapt to the screen's aspect ratio, even if that just meant
something as simple as drawing big black boxes on each side of the
screen to reduce it to a "normal" resolution.
