less appears to not get updated on the window size change, so randomly,
it'll think it's 80x<height-of-window> or <width-of-window>x25.

Using ALT-F6 to maximise vertically (and back again) shows this well.

Run nano in a screen instance, and you'll see the effect readily, too.
