If I have commented 'defaultMaxPasswordAge' in smbldap.conf I get an error
in case using smbldap-populate or smbldap-passwd (including a
'smbldap-useradd <...> -P <username>'):
pc:/etc/smbldap-tools# smbldap-useradd -a -m -c"Th. Guenther" -g is-ma -P thomas
Changing UNIX and samba passwords for thomas
New password:
Retype new password:
Use of uninitialized value $config{"defaultMaxPasswordAge"} in string \
at /usr/sbin/smbldap-passwd line 277, <STDIN> line 2.
Failed to modify UNIX password: shadowMax: value #0 invalid per syntax \
at /usr/sbin/smbldap-passwd line 285, <STDIN> line 2.
But in /usr/share/doc/smbldap-tools/examples/smbldap.conf.gz is written:
# Default password validation time (time in days) Comment the next line if
# you don't want password to be enable for defaultMaxPasswordAge days (be
# careful to the sambaPwdMustChange attribute's value)
If 'defaultMaxPasswordAge' is not commented no error message occurs.
