I cannot tell if -13 fixes it, but I can confirm the original bug report and that the mentioned setting fixes the segfault. I believe therefore that the merge was not justified, seeing that the latest segfault only shows up in 1.2.10-11 and upwards; therefore I'm unmerging them.
