OK, I build the German release-notes in Romanian mode and it works well. Nevertheless I got using options -l ro -b -v to debiandoc2latexps a warning that the varioref LaTeX package does not support Romanian. Dan, can you please edit /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/tools/varioref.sty and send a patch against the tetex-base package? Otherwise you will get English references "see next page", "see page 123", ... instead of whatever :-) PS: Ardo, Osamu: Is it necessary to add maintainers to CC:?
