edit /etc/default/masqmail and put the following at the bottom of it: # Workaround for BTS#427095 MODE=stop This will trick the if-up script in /etc/network/if-up.d/1masqmail into thinking the interface is going down and therefore that it doesn't need to look up any mail routing info.
